Being mesmorized with the organization’s history is rewarding enough for me. Being apart of a sisterhood that our founders created in spite of adversity is breathtaking. I often noticed that Sigma women work to make the letters mean something, instead of letting the letters work for them. Wanting to educate and promote issue awareness in our society is a driven goal for me which the sorority operates around.

I joined Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. because the mission of the organization aligns with my values, as well as things I want to partake in throughout my life. Coming from a place where education is not available to everyone, I have always been passionate about education of youth, and inspiring youth to consider the options they have. I’m also an advocate for self-love and uplifting women, and Sigma Gamma Rho does exactly that, so I would like to have a hand in that mission also.

I joined Sigma Gamma Rho because I align with the mission. I believe that youth are future leaders, and need support and commitment of people that care about them. Having younger family, I see the youth’s need firsthand and I believe that Sigma Gamma Rho does a great job of addressing these needs. I also joined because the women in this organization are so passionate and genuine. Although we are a small sorority, we work twice as hard and keep our eyes on the goal.

​I joined Sigma Gamma Rho because I was looking for a way to be involved within the Bloomington community, as well as gain a network of support throughout the rest of my life. I found that I best identified with those in this organization.

I joined Sigma Gamma Rho to make an impact on the youth of the future on a larger scale using this sorority as a help to support me in my endeavors, as well as many of the support organizations I align with an am involved in! I also enjoy having the sisterhood with powerful women who mentor me in to being the best woman I can be.

I joined Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. to better myself as individual. I wanted to be part on something bigger than myself. I cherish this experience that has allowed me to grow alongside such amazing women.
